KATY MOLKO

Everyone has a way of seeing life in a unique way, that I keep in mind when I capture moments with the camera.

I was born in Caracas in 1982 and started working with photography in 2005, since then I have not spent a day without doing it, I love what I do and I do what I love, because never is not happening anything, there are not ordinary moments.

About the photos:

I use photography as a vision where it is possible to freeze moments, freeze paths illuminating shadows to make darkness an attractive place and create colorful atmospheres playing with light. In this series I work with object photography, manipulating objects as a game with light; from there begins a dialogue between light, object and movement to create these photographs where magical results appear, often unpredictable, that captivate by transforming such simple things into incredible and ephemeral images. Starting from these practice, I began to investigate the world of light, finding the “Light Art” and developing a theoretical-practical investigation to refine the ideas creating “LUMINESCENCE: drawings with light”.
